This beautiful young man's name is Ollie. We would really like Ollie to find his forever home, but we would settle for a nice foster. He's currently being boarded at The Barking Lot, on Trent Ave in Spokane Valley. We love the Barking Lot but it can get spendy and we know a dog does better in a home.
He's 2 years old and full of puppy energy! Ollie didn't have the best start. His owner didn't do any kind of training with him in the formative first year and he spent much of his life in a crate. (His owner was elderly and couldn't handle his puppy energy hence why he kept him crated.) Unfortunately, his elderly owner passed and there was no next of kin.
However, that hasn't dulled Ollie's spirit and he is amazingly loving to everyone, including children and other dogs. He's updated on his vaccines and microchipped, and he is scheduled for his neuter. Because he wasn't trained at all, he will definitely need training. We do not want to downplay this. He's a very strong puller on a leash. He's a bit barky, but overall, the boarder has said he's very smart, learns quickly and is doing really good in play group with other dogs.
Speedy is paying as much as they can towards care for this guy, but being at a boarder is expensive. Hence why a foster would be ideal. Speedy would continue to pay for his food and vet bills in a foster. This dog is under Just Ducky's rescue. Contact us for more information. He is also posted on Rehome Otis Orchards, WA - Mutt. Meet Ollie a Pet for Adoption - AdoptaPet.com

This is a private adoption thru a rescue that I will put you in touch with.
Bear is an approx 2-3 yr old neutered male dog. He is 30-40 lbs, microchipped, vaccinated, and looks like a border collie shepherd mix.
Not much is known about Bear's previous life, but we do know he's been abused. Since having Bear in a foster, we've found he is cat reactive and dog selective. He shows no signs of aggression with humans, is eager to learn and is very receptive to correction.
Bear has been getting training and will need to continue this for his trust issues and fear-based reactivity. He shows no resource guarding, is very food motivated and knows basic commands.
He needs an experienced foster-to-adopt or forever home with someone who understands the decompression period a rescue dog needs, can continue training him and helping him learn healthy boundaries. He is best placed in an animal free home.
He is located in Spokane, WA. Please reach out if interested and I will pass your information along to the foster.
