At eight years old, Molly has already shown us what true resilience looks like. Her beloved person recently passed away, and while it has been a difficult transition being in a shelter, Molly’s sweet spirit and love for companionship is definitely her strength.

Molly is a 67-pound lab/pit mix. People are her favorite thing in the world – she adores adults, teenagers, and even the littlest babies. Cat-friendly companion – Molly lived happily with two cats and misses their company, so she’d welcome feline friends in her new home. Other Dogs – Sometimes curious with them, sometimes preferring her space. She loves little dogs and calm dogs. We’d call her dog selective and due to her age, may do better in a home without younger dogs.

Calm & even-tempered– she’s a quiet gal who loves to relax, but don’t be fooled—she can still fetch but a nice neighborhood walk is her preference. Smart & attentive – Molly knows sit, stay, and speak, and she’s a wonderful listener. Cuddle queen – give her a soft blankie and your love, and she’ll be the happiest pup around.

If you’re looking for a loyal friend to share your days with—whether it’s hanging out, playing fetch, or curling up together, Molly is best. At her age, let’s get this girl out of the shelter and into a home.
