Now is the time! We really need to find Duke's forever home. Spokanimal's insurance doesn't allow dogs over 30 pounds, so time is of the essence. His adoption is sponsored by Speedy (so FREE to you!). He is fixed, chipped and vaccinated! Duke does not have good kennel presence, so he's getting overlooked. He just doesn't like to be in that kennel, but out in the yard he truly shines. He is eager to please, fun loving and so good with people.
Duke is a healthy 3 year around 45 pounds, so not a huge guy! He was found in the Greenbluff area. He was brought to Spokanimal. The fosters took care of him for 2 weeks and said he is potty trained and does well in a crate (even up to 6 hours or more with no accidents). He prefers to be in his crate when he sleeps but wants to be where his people or other pets are. He is good with dogs and takes corrections from her well. Unknown how he is with children or cats.
Overall, he’s great with adults and tolerated handling on ears, paws and belly with no issues. He knows sit, shake and is learning drop it and lay down. He’s good on a leash, excited initially like a normal dog, but calms down nicely. He’s a love bug and likes his stuffies to play with. He is not an escape artist and stays around. He’s such a good boy - If you want to meet him, go to Spokanimal and ask for Duke! They have some great videos of him online! Plus, his adoption is already paid for!

Introducing Beetle. His time is running out too, like Duke. Spokanimal's insurance doesn't allow dogs over 30 pounds, so time is of the essence. FREE VISITS AT SPEEDY TO WHOMEVER ADOPTS BEETLE.
Beetle is “all dog”. He’s beautiful and strong and gets excited when visitors walk the kennels looking. He wants a chance to get out and enjoy human attention and affection and win your praise. He wants to be called a “Good Boy!” again.
Beetle is very clever. He learns quickly and connects strongly to his person. You can both learn together! He loves agility and games, exercise and training. He loves to run and play and listen and learn. He’s treat-motivated and picks up tricks and good behavior quickly.
With some dedicated time and commitment on your part, you’ll have a wonderful companion. Taking him to training classes will pay off for the both of you. The reward: a handsome, fun, well-trained, disciplined and obedient dog. - If you want to meet him, go to Spokanimal and ask for Beetle! They have some great videos of him online! The great volunteer, Philip can help with a meet & greet.
