ADOPTABLE Dogs we sponsor/support

Duke was found in the Greenbluff area. He appears to be less than 3 years old, no microchip, but recently neutered. He’s around 45 pounds and healthy. He was brought to Spokanimal. The fosters took care of him for 2 weeks and noticed some great things:

He is potty trained and does well in a crate (even up to 6 hours or more with no accidents). He prefers to be in his crate when he sleeps but wants to be where his people or other pets are. He is good with dogs and takes corrections from her well. Unknown how he is with children or cats. 

Overall, he’s great with adults and tolerated handling on ears, paws and belly with no issues. He knows sit, shake and is learning drop it and lay down. He’s good on a leash, excited initially like a normal dog, but calms down nicely. He’s a love bug and likes his stuffies to play with. He is not an escape artist and stays around.
