This beautiful young man's name is Ollie. He's 2 years old, full of puppy energy! He is amazingly loving given his start being crated most of his first year. He loves all people and is really good with young children. He is gentle with taking treats and gets along with all size dogs. (His past owner was elderly and couldn't handle his puppy energy hence why he kept him crated.) Unfortunately, his elderly owner passed and there was no next of kin. 

He is UTD on vaccines, microchipped and neutered. Foster says he is very smart, learns quickly and is doing really good in play group with other dogs of all sizes. His favorite toy is a football and he loves playing tug, roughhousing with other dogs and cuddles at night. He visits the dog park often. All dogs are his friends. Foster's situation is changing so looking for his forever home, hopefully with other dogs to keep him busy as he loves other dogs! If you are looking for a buddy for your own pup, this guy is it! Ollie would love to be with other dogs and has high energy, so active households would be best.

Bear is an approx 2-3 yr old neutered male dog. He is 30-40 lbs, microchipped, vaccinated, and looks like a border collie shepherd mix. 

Not much is known about Bear's previous life, but we do know he's been abused. Since having Bear in a foster, we've found he is cat reactive and dog selective. He shows no signs of aggression with humans, is eager to learn and is very receptive to correction. 

Bear has been getting training and will need to continue this for his trust issues and fear-based reactivity. He shows no resource guarding, is very food motivated and knows basic commands. 

He needs an experienced foster-to-adopt or forever home with someone who understands the decompression period a rescue dog needs, can continue training him and helping him learn healthy boundaries. He is best placed in an animal free home.

This beautiful lady is needing her forever home.  Sunny was abandoned by her previous owner in the program with her sister Fiona. She's just 10 months old and still needs to be spayed, but it is scheduled. She's UTD on vaccines and microchipped. She's a bit shy, like we all can be in new circumstances, but once she feels safe, she's a wiggly ball of love and fun.

Her sister Fiona can be protective of Sunny, so they are being adopted out separately. She will need continued training, but she is smart and eager to please. She's housebroken and crate trained. She just needs a special person to help her shine! She is unknown with cats but appears to be ok with other dogs. She is doing doggy daycare to help acclimate her distractions, noises and other dogs (besides Fiona). She is starting to come out of her shell showing us her sunny side. Super sweet and fun, this one will make a great friend who is up for adventure!

This is an adoption thru Just Ducky. He is being fostered and trained by The Barking Lot.

This big handsome man is in training right now at The Barking Lot learning how to be on a leash, sit, leave and some recall! He came from a domestic violence situation, but you wouldn't know that with happy demeanor. He gets along with other dogs, has shown no signs of any kind of guarding, and is appropriate in play groups, neither being too dominant or submissive. He's a medium energy dog and the trainer notices that he settles when other dogs settle as appropriate.

Leo is about 2.5 years old and is UTD on vaccines, neutered and microchipped. His dad was full Pyrenees and the mom was mixed unknown breed. We know this because the rescue initially adopted this boy out as a puppy. This is a big boy, weighing in around 80-90 pounds. He is not underweight and could even lose a pound or two. So, he's a healthy weight with a current vet checkup. Call Barking Lot to set up a meet/greet!
